In this documentary produced for the BBC World Service, Jane Little examines how the economics of elder life can impact the care seniors get. We meet a U.S. man who brought both his parents to India because the care they needed was more affordable there. Jane also profiles a couple who are struggling to cope with Alzheimer’s Disease, and still find joy in life.

SECOND HALF




The World’s Jane Little wraps up her series on Aging with an examination of the debates over quality of life and the right to die. She also speaks with the chair of the Methuselah Foundation, a Virginia-based group with a mission to extend human life.
