Living in a vacation hotspot can be far from paradise. We compare and contrast three tourist destinations to see what it’s like – to live with tourists.

The BBC’s Ros Atkins split his childhood between Cornwall, the Bahamas, and Trinidad and Tobago. He returns to each of these places to examine their differing attitudes towards tourists, and finds that tourists are often tolerated in Cornwall, catered to in the Bahamas, and somewhat ignored in Trinidad and Tobago.
